The Columbia 212493 Womens Kruser Ridge Soft Shell Jacket is a women's soft shell jacket built from 100% polyester Nexgen Contour soft shell with a fleece bonded interior lining, Omni-Shield water and stain repellent treatment, and comfort stretch — the same technical family as the Men's Ascender II Soft Shell Vest (216510) but in a women's full soft shell jacket format. The Nexgen Contour soft shell designation indicates a stretch-enhanced soft shell fabric specification with a contoured cut designed for women's body geometry.
The fleece bonded interior lining adds thermal insulation and a soft interior surface against layering pieces, making the Kruser Ridge more effective as a standalone mid-weight outer layer in cool weather than a non-insulated soft shell. Comfort stretch allows the jacket to flex with arm and shoulder movement. Wind-resistant construction and Omni-Shield moisture repellency protect against light wind and rain.
