The Columbia 211592 Youth Hikebound II Jacket is a youth waterproof/breathable rain jacket built from 100% polyester shell with 100% polyester mesh lining and Omni-Tech waterproof/breathable critically seam-sealed construction. Critically seam sealed covers the primary stress seams rather than every seam in the jacket, providing reliable protection in rain conditions at a value-appropriate specification for youth sizes.
The mesh lining keeps the jacket light and breathable for active youth use, appropriate for hiking, recess, sports, and outdoor activity in wet conditions. An attached, adjustable hood with partial elastic provides head coverage with a flexible fit around the head. Partial elastic cuffs seal at the wrists without requiring manual adjustment. Zippered hand pockets provide accessible storage for youth-scale items. Reflective detail adds visibility in low-light conditions appropriate for youth pedestrian and outdoor programs.
