The North End 88099 Men's Three Layer Fleece Performance Soft Shell Jacket is a technical three-layer soft shell built on 8 oz./yd² 97/3 polyester/spandex outer face bonded to 100% polyester fleece with an inner waterproof membrane — a construction that delivers a manufacturer-stated 10,000 mm waterproof rating and 800 g breathability rating. The UTK 1 temperature range (43°F to 13°F / 6°C to -11°C) is the manufacturer's stated comfort range.
The 97/3 polyester/spandex outer face provides a degree of stretch and flexibility while the three-layer bonded construction blocks moisture from penetrating to the interior. The polyester tricot lining in the sleeves allows smooth arm movement during layering. A fleece chin guard at the collar provides comfort when zipped. Seamless shoulder construction reduces bulk at the shoulder seam. Lower front contrast reversed coil zippered pockets with pocket garages, a left sleeve vertical reversed coil zipper pocket, and thermal retention shock cord at the hem complete the functional features.
