The DRI DUCK 5318 Summit Soft Shell Puffer Vest is a softshell-puffer hybrid vest, combining a 10 oz./yd², 90/10 polyester/spandex 2-layer softshell at the collar, shoulder, and back (bonded to 100% polyester brushed tricot interior) with a 100% polyester channel-quilted front body with 3 oz. polyfill for a vest that provides both structured warmth and softshell protection at a Storm Shield™ Level 2 weather rating.
The softshell panels at the collar, shoulder, and back provide wind and water resistance where the vest is most exposed to weather during physical work — the rear facing into wind and the shoulders exposed during overhead work. The channel-quilted polyfill front provides the warmth-retaining insulation at the core.
An interior storm flap with chin guard prevents zipper contact with the neck. Auto-lock zipper with easy-grab pull. Exterior hand pockets with zipper closure. Two large interior pockets provide secure internal storage. Droptail hem with adjustable cord locks.
