The Columbia 213684 Mens Essential Hike Grid Fleece Full-Zip is the men's full-zip version of the Essential Hike Grid Fleece, sharing the same 100% recycled polyester grid back fleece construction and Omni-Wick moisture management as the women's 213624 half-zip but in a men's full-zip format. The full-zip allows complete front opening for easy on and off, ventilation management during activity, and transition between wearing states without removing a pack.
Grid back fleece provides enhanced moisture transport through its structured interior surface compared to smooth-back fleece, making the Essential Hike Full-Zip well suited to high-output trail use where moisture management during active hiking is as important as warmth. Omni-Wick actively moves perspiration away from skin for rapid evaporation.
Binding at the cuffs, hem, and collar provides a structured seal at the jacket edges. A zippered chest pocket provides front-panel storage for small trail essentials. Hand pockets provide additional storage. Columbia branding on the left chest provides brand identity.
