The vest format provides core warmth while leaving full arm freedom for activities where sleeve coverage would be restrictive.
The cold-blocking collar — an elevated collar construction specific to the vest format — helps prevent cold air from entering the garment at the neck opening, addressing one of the primary heat loss pathways in a vest construction. Zippered hand pockets provide secure side storage.
