The Columbia 208624 Mens Delta Ridge II Down Jacket is a premium down insulated jacket built from 100% polyester shell with an Omni-Heat thermal reflective lining and 650 Fill Power RDS-certified down insulation. 650 Fill Power is a premium insulation specification — Fill Power measures the loft of down, with higher numbers indicating down with greater insulating efficiency per unit weight. 650 Fill Power down delivers excellent warmth-to-weight ratio, with the RDS (Responsible Down Standard) certification confirming the down was sourced through independently audited, humane supply chains.
HeatSeal construction bonds the outer shell and lining panels using thermal welding rather than traditional sewing, eliminating stitch holes that can allow down to migrate out of the jacket and cold air to penetrate through needle punctures — improving both fill containment and thermal performance. Omni-Shield water and stain repellent treatment and water-resistant fabric protect against light rain and snow.
Binding at the collar, cuffs, and hem provide a clean-finish seal at the jacket edges. A chin guard prevents zipper contact, and zippered hand pockets provide secure storage. Active fit through the body provides a slightly more tailored silhouette. Columbia products must be sold with embellishment and cannot be exported internationally.
