The Bulwark QP16 iQ Series Men's Lightweight Comfort Woven Pant is built on Nomex® Comfort fabric by DuPont® — a 6 oz.
(200 g/m²) inherently flame-resistant fabric made from 93/5/2 Nomex®/Kevlar®/Carbon.
This fiber composition delivers CAT 1 protection with an ATPV arc rating of 7.6 cal/cm², meeting NFPA 2112 2023 compliance for flash fire and arc flash hazard environments.
Nomex®/Kevlar® blend fabric represents a different performance approach from cotton-dominant FR fabrics.
Nomex® is an inherently flame-resistant aramid fiber — the protection is in the fiber itself, not a chemical treatment — and the fabric feels light and smooth against the skin.
At 6 oz., the QP16 is one of Bulwark's lightest FR pant options, suited to workers in warm or active environments who need CAT 1 protection without the weight of heavier FR fabrics.
The jean-style cut includes a one-piece waistband with concealed button closure and wide belt loops sized for work belts.
Six pockets are distributed across the design: two scoop front pockets with a concealed pocket on the right pocket bag, two hip patch pockets, a snap-closure cargo pocket on the left leg, and a double utility pocket on the right leg.
A full crotch gusset and double articulated knees provide mobility for active work environments.
Waist sizes run 28–56 with inseam lengths 30–37 (including 37 unhemmed).
