The cuffed profile creates a classic beanie appearance with a structured, visually defined folded edge at the bottom.

The cuff creates a flat front surface area at the folded band section that is specifically suited to embroidery decoration — the dense double-layer construction at the cuff provides a firm, stable backing that holds embroidery stitching flat and clean without the puckering that can affect thinner single-layer knit panels.
