The Berne Apparel BHJ61 Youth Highland Softstone Duck Hooded Jacket is the youth-sized counterpart to the adult duck hooded jacket series, built from a 10 oz. 100% cotton sanded duck shell with a water-repellent finish. The sanded duck surface is softened compared to standard cotton duck, providing a more comfortable wear experience for youth wearers. Heavyweight insulation is quilted to polyester taffeta throughout the body.
A three-piece lined hood with elastic inserts provides head and neck coverage and a snug, adjustable fit at the hood perimeter. Hidden rib-knit cuffs and waistband are concealed within the hem and sleeve openings, providing a clean exterior appearance while retaining warmth at the wrists and waist. A pleated action back allows arm movement without pulling. A brass front zipper and brass snap closures provide secure front closure with hardware appropriate for workwear applications.
